Delta has resumed 12 more international routes.  The US opens up to vaccinations for travelers. As the number of flights to grow, Delta Air Lines has added transatlantic flights to its schedule for 2022 by 12 restored routes.

 Between New York and Copenhagen, Denmark

 Delta will be restoring five times weekly nonstop service between New York and Copenhagen beginning May 26 using an aircraft from Boeing 767-300. The redeye outbound service will operate on Sundaysand Tuesdays as well as Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while the return flight will run on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This route will only be operated by Delta and will not be able to compete from Newark’s Scandinavian Airlines.

 Between New York and Prague, Czech Republic

 Delta will resume nonstop daily service between New York City and Prague beginning May 26. It will use a Boeing 767 300 aircraft. However, the route will be only available five times per week until May. Redeye service will be used to fly outbound flights, and the return flights will be scheduled in the afternoon. Delta will be JFK’s main rival, however United will also compete out of Newark.

 Between New York and Zurich, Switzerland

 Delta will resume nonstop daily service between New York City and Zurich beginning February 6 using the Boeing 767-4400 plane. The outbound redeye will operate on Tuesdays, Sundays, Fridays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The morning return will fly on Mondays, Sundays Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. No competition will be faced by Delta.

 Between Boston and Rome, Italy

 Delta will resume nonstop services between Boston and Rome starting on May 1 with an Airbus A330 aircraft, with the route operating every day starting in June.
